With me it's more a case of second-guessing, so I'm definitely not precise at it.INFJs and INFPs I know are both good at detecting emotional changes in people. INFJs are better at detecting changes in atmosphere or seeing the potential of lies. INFPs are good at detecting people in close-range.

MBTI type of Best type at detecting lies

.There are many types of lies/liar. I don't personally think there is a type more suited than another to detect lies as a generality.

Find out about Best type at detecting lies personality type

.There's a difference between detecting logical inconsistency and detecting when someone is lying on purpose. I would say INFJ, because they have the Ni which puts everything in a larger perspective and goes from the end result to the actual truth of the matter, and Fe which makes them more aware than INTJ or INTPs of the emotionalstate of the person telling the lie, also more socially aware of the various ways people choose to lie.Information about Myers Briggs Type Indicator of Best type at detecting lies. ENFJ with Fe over Ni, I think would have a thing for trying to see the best in people, but INFJ would be more detached while having the social smarts (of course, this implies a socially active INFJ and not a hermit).Ni is generally what leads to bias in INTJ, not "Fi" which is really in contrary to their preferences.Which of the 16 personality types is Best type at detecting lies?. Ni leads to conclusions before a more thorough logically deductive process, and probably isn't as tuned to spotting inconsistencies as Ti.INTJ would act with Fi biasing, but INTP with Ne trusting. It's really hard at all. I'm still going with INTJ as I feel the Te gives them more objective traits. Ni-Te seems pretty 'detector' at all. As for ENFJ it's impossible, INFJ makes much more sense. The way they detect lies is Ni-Ti with Fe which is more effective that Fe-Se with Ni. But ENTP is completely nonsense.I also think if this was worded differently ("the most difficult type to fool") which basically means the same thing, those two types would be leading.I would've assumed that this would be between INTP and INTJ: the two types that are probably best at detecting when things add up or not. I think INTJ tend to have more cognitive bias though which can get in the way of things, so INTP judge more accurately.I imagined the ISTP for the Ti-Ni, but... Se? I particularly feel the Pe function specially trusting(Ne more than Se concretely as long as they can highly consider the possibility), those are the functions that perceive things as they come, meanwhile the Ni is the one that have the most trusting problems and easily can get you. It is really hard to lie(and even to tell the truth) to an INTJ.ISTP not ENTP. A TI+Se combo is particularly good at detecting lies. ISTP's use their strong observation skills with all five senses (especially sight!) to determine from the person's "body language" whether or not he or she is lying. ENTP's are the ones that are more likely to be telling the lies themselves!

Da powah of en eye.

Ti doms? Good joke x)

8s have a natural instinct and intuition for detecting lies, falsehoods and deception. They probably have the best and most intuitive "bullshit-detector". And they're not afraid to call people out. If you want to make a big purchase (like real estate or a car), and don't want to be cheated and want to negotiate a good price, take an 8 with you. 6s generally have a good radar for what's wrong, although 6s tend to be too mistrusting and sceptical even if there's nothing wrong. 5s do not have enough interpersonal skills to detect that something's wrong, I'm sorry. 5s can be persuaded by facts and numbers, they're usually not in touch with their gut feeling enough to notice when they're being deceived. 4s are good at detecting inauthenticity, but that's not quite the same as detecting lies. Type 8s are best at that, in my opinion.

xNTPs are probably the most likely to spot logical fallacies, but they usually suck at reading people. I would probably say xSFPs read people the best.
