Bjork is a self-proclaimed ambivert which is why I pick ENFP for her over INFP. Her Ne is obvious from all her strange interview answers. I agree with bob that her strong Ne makes her way too weird to be an INFP. In her own words: "I am aware that there are periods when I am an extrovert and there are periods when I am an introvert.

MBTI type of Bjork

. It's a very natural progression, in and out, kinda like the tide." As for her enneagram, I believe she is a 4w3.

. Even though Lady Gaga was wearing a meat dress to events, Bjork was wearing weird shit before her. If you google Bjork at red carpet events, you'll see her outrageously flashy style.Information about Myers Briggs Type Indicator of Bjork. Even now in her early 50's, she's still wearing strange clothing and intricately designed headpieces; she is still very much attached to her image. If you listen to her songs "Black Lake", "Moon", and "Show Me Forgiveness", she sings about melancholy, abandonment, loss of love, shame, and despair.Which of the 16 personality types is Bjork?. Her song "Isobel" is about a character whose name is a direct reference to isolation. The only thing I'm not settled on are her instinct stackings.Hmm, I don't really think she has social anxiety, she just gets a bit shy sometimes. She's described herself as an introvert.ENFP with social anxiety would be my guess. She's far too over the top to be INFP.Bjork is like the hardest person ever to type. I could see ISFP, INFP, or INFJ. I think she's an Fi-dom, but there's so much wackiness as well as sensuality and a focus on loud aesthetics in her music and visual art that I can't tell if she uses Se or Ne more. She's one of those sui generis people. Type: KUKL.Aaaaaaaaand you just lost all your credibility :DAnd if you complain once more, you'll meet an army of me.I projected my enneagram all over your mom last night.Surprise surprise another NT 5w4 projecting his enneagram on Bjork. As for 5w4 (or even 4w5) instead of 4w3, I believe one of the crucial points is that she is certainly a perfectionist, but it is more clearly 5/4 perfectionism rather than 3. The standards that she is trying to meet are her own, she doesn't seem to care whether or not she's impressive or successful by outside standards. 3s often thrive on validation, and she is quite starkly the opposite of that. Her 5 sense of perfectionism is meticulous, and a lot of it revolves around her need to create the kind of structural integrity she can stand behind. She greatly admires self-sufficiency, and has made herself an icon (especially among women) in the music industry partly because of her technical ability and doing the majority of her own production. She is reclusive and avaricious as a 5 would be; if she were a w3, we would expect more comfort in the spotlight, even if her role in that spotlight were subdued. A 4 wing, in my opinion, shines far brighter. It's not only important for her to explore and master new tools for expression, but also that she honors her emotional life in her art. Her last CD was a very honest breakup album, and it is just saturated with a fascinating mixture of aloof but intense emotionalism. As in previous work, her actual take on emotions is rather clinical and distant, like we would expect from a 5 - "these abstract, complex felings...I just don't know how to handle them!" (Lionsong) "moments of clarity are so rare, I better document this..." (Stonemilker). But from this detached vantage point she still has a side of her that seeks emotional expression, honesty, and even integration (compelled as well by her strong SX instinct) and yet still, it comes across rather clinical - "and I have emotional needs...I wish to synchronize our feelings" (Stonemilker). I think that her main enneagram influences, namely 5/4/sx, are evident with enough examination, including their proportion. Just my two cents, I'm still open to other ideas. Also, about attacking that reporter...this is going to be a strange analogy, but if any of you have played the Fallout games, I think 5w4s will naturally feel a strong affinity for the Nightkin. We are naturally peripheral observers, so to have the roles reversed and be in the spotlight can be intensely uncomfortable. This reporter went above and beyond that, imposing herself into Björk's personal space when she was already quite obviously strained and exhausted, as well as trying to drag her child into it. Maybe it was an overreaction, but I think Björk was clearly having a major 8/Fi+Te mama bear moment.I think of all the other options, ISFP would be most likely, but I still would learn towards INFP. As for her being especially weird, I don't think that is enough to say that she is an Ne-dom. A lot of it has to be cultural. Iceland has been isolated for a lot of its history and seems to be a place that encourages individuality in the first place, and if you add that in with her fairly unconventional upbringing (her mom is sort of a hippy), it becomes easier to explain away her weirdness without resorting to functions. I do think that if such a thing exists she would be an Ne subtype, but when she does express that side of her it seems to be more like an exploration outside of herself, rather than a place where she naturally lives. Even at her most avant garde, her peculiar methods of expression always seem to be merely a vehicle for her Fi musings. Why is she a 5w4 or 4w5? Enneagram is not my forte, but even like that I can see how ridiculous those options are for her. 4w3 is the right answer. No, please, not Björk. She's like the mother I've ever wanted. So considering that Björk has the same overwhelming weirdness without necessarily much meaning/depth aside from that (I'm no Björk expert though), and given that David Lynch is likely an ISFP, could Björk be one as well? A sort of connoisseur of sensory weirdness? Most of the people I've known who are huge Björk fans were also INFJ (Ni/Se). I don't really know that many INFPs who are big fans.I really don't think an ENFP type 5 is an unusual as an INTP type 2, ENFPs have Ne-Te which could be a pretty 5 combination, because Ne gives the curiosity about knowledge and the Te the need for searching facts. I can't imagine Ti-Ne being 2ish in any way on the other hand. She could be like Marlyin Manson equivalent of INFP tough, like I'm pretty sure most INFJ wouldn't be able to identify with Manson, the same way I can't identify with Bjork (the same way I can identify with Kate Bush on the other hand).Or Ne subtyped? I mean, I can't see her much of an extrovert, maybe the 5w4 is what is causing her introverted look(whatever, a 5 ENFP is like a 8 INFJ or a 2 INTP), but, anyways, if it's an introvert subtyped as Ne it would explain why some people see her as INFJ taking a N>F>T>S dichotomy.Yeah, compared to Kate Bush where I enjoy her weirdness, Bjork's weirdness just seem too much.Don't know if it's an ENFP thing tough, somehow she doesn't fit the profile.Could she be an ENFP? I think her Fi and Ne is pretty obvious, but I get the same feeling that I get from ENFPs in real life sometimes ... Like I get stressed out because there is just so much weirdness and it's not grounded in anything. Then again, this may be due to my lack of knowledge/understanding of her art. She is kind of loud and very expressive here anyway I also think there is something somewhat forceful and business-like to her, the way she talks about working, which might be Tertiary Te rather than Inferior Te? She does seem quite shy in the Charlie Rose interview though, but I think any weird icelandic girl (even an ESTJ) would be a little bit like that, suddenly sitting in front of Charlie Rose? Also Type 5 ENFP is probably pretty unusual, and might have a calming/focusing effect? Why did she hit that reporter? Blame enneagram 5 sx?"i feel at home whenever the unknown surrounds me"I think both INFP and 5w4 are pretty evident through her musical career. Many of her songs fit the 5w4 experience like a glove - some speak of the frantic, escapist thrill-seeking of 7 disintegration (Wanderlust, Thunderbolt, Pluto), while others are battle hymns the 8 integration experience (Bachelorette, Innocence ["the thrill of fear, now greatly enjoyed with courage"]). She's positively voracious as an academic, one example being her attendance of 100 National Geographic lectures in preparation for her album Biophilia (in my opinion, the most 5ish of her career) and her attraction to meaningful, yet obscure etymologies (Medulla, Biophilia). She is also very self-aware of this: " A lot of the time I get obsessed by little nerdy things in my corner that no one else is interested in. I have that nerd factor in my character." As for the iconoclastic nature of the 5w4...she is more or less the archetype of a "weird" musician, and she quite naturally disrupts trends by somehow integrating them in very iconoclastic ways, even if that means using Tesla coils or silence itself as media. The Fi (and sx) comes through in that even through her lament of others' oddities and distance (Human Behaviour), she longs for genuine expression and intimate connection, and the core of her most intimate music is her reflecting on her subjective value experience and her own emotional state (Fi) rather than external value judgments or relationship dynamics (Fe). From Jóga: "Every nerve that hurts, you heal, deep inside of me....emotional landscapes, they puzzle me, confuse." As an Fi-dom and w4 she is deeply aware of her emotional state, but as a 5 it is a bewildering and sometimes threatening experience - she never seems fully comfortable, or "alive in it." The weakest argument out of all this is for Ne+Si v.s. Se+Ni (INFP or ISFP), but intuitive connections seems to be more prevalent for her than factual observations. This is clear even outside of her music. "Singing is like a celebration of oxygen." While she loves nature and what not, she's not exactly grounded. In Socionics, most think she's either NiFe or SiFe, she has that Fe secondary harmonizing feeling to her. Not FiNe, her intuition is not dependent on the outer world and she is dominated by intuition but is clearly introverted.Lol, how did she get typed as a 4? And no, she has Fe and values it. She is introverted yes, but she is about her own inner world's images and free association with her intuition in that Ni dom way, not about inner feelings and such. INFJ, don't you guys seem simiiarities between her and Amelie who is also typed as INFJ? That's a vibe many Ixxj types can have since they are dominated by introverted perception, that go with the flow harmonizing in their own inner world feel. INFJs are perceivers before they are judgers anyways, many are so into their Ni that they don't use their Fe as much (not that she doesn't, she clearly does). Fi doms are one of the most judgmental with ISFPs being more stuck in their judgments than INFPs due to lack of intuition in seeing positive potential for people to change or grow that Ne gives INFPs. And introverted judging doms are quite rigid, need to judge things to their inner standard and Fi doms are energized by keeping their feelings from influence by others, even clinging to their negative judgments of others even if they get more positive interactions with them. I have a feeling she is Sp/sx, maybe a 5 or a 9. Every sentimental artist gets typed as a 4 nowadays. Read Jung's Ni, that's her.
