it's funny hitler is isfp and chaplin infpinfp 7w6 it makes look like him to an enfpGuys, don't listen to thedude: he being INFJ has always thought that David Bowie was ENFP and other super weird stuff.I think he was a rare example of an introverted 7, which is why he sometimes seemed extroverted.I might have made an error when saying NFJ isn't an actor type, what I meant was acting in the sense of role-playing by nature, not their professions. Any type can be good actors, of course, especially NFJs.

MBTI type of Charlie Chaplin

. But the ones that would take on use role-playing in morphing themselves into the roles are Fi types. If you read his autobiography, you will see that his view on love and relationship is cynical, that of a loner and an introvert.

Find out about Charlie Chaplin personality type

. The way he managed on many occasions to impose his views wether in public occasions or while negotiating is absolutely uncomprimising Fi. So again, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO TYPE HIM ENFJ.Information about Myers Briggs Type Indicator of Charlie Chaplin. Nothing naive about my statement. Read his autobiography.Which of the 16 personality types is Charlie Chaplin?. The only argument you can offer to type him as a Fe dom is the speech from The Dictator which is not real life Chaplin but a character written to be the opposite of a Hitler (Fe user) based character. That's not a valid point.ENFJs are ambitious and intelligent and selfish too. Like every walking human being. @thedude I think you're being too naive or playing the naive this time in a not so smart move to sever Fe from dictatorship, which no one is accusing Chaplin of. "IT IS IMPOSSIBLE to type him ENFJ." No, because his quotes are ENFJ. He also was a ladies man, having INFINITE numbers of lovers.People need to stop refering to the dictator's speech to type him as a Fe user and read a little bit more about himself, his autobiography being the best way to realise he CAN'T BE anything else but a Fi dom and a CLEAR INTROVERT. I'd type him ISFP over INFP though. He was good at improvising his first movies, but that was induced by the ways of production of the time, and I would think of it as Se over Ne (don't forget he was a physical performer, dancer and all in his early years), and when he got to the position of doing what he wanted, he took the time to reflect more on writing and developped his project in a more focussed way (Ni?). The man was a though business man, and in private life too, he stood for what he believed in, sometimes being selfish. The way he handled his contracts and all is so Fi/Te that IT IS IMPOSSIBLE to type him ENFJ.Radomguy makes good points, except the acting thing. NFP would be into acting in order to explore the possibilites inside themselves, while NFJ in order to have the appreciation of a large audience."NFJs are social reformers, not actors" NFJs love acting. Many actors are NFJs, the best probably. An NFJ on empathizing would ask "what can I do to help these people". And NFP would ask "what would I feel if I were them".it takes an NFJ to recognize another XD but what bobnickmad said -- clap clap clap :DNFJs can have that ''emphatising with the downtrodden'' thing as well. His speech in The Dictator is very powerful and emotional in a way that matches Martin Luther King Jr. and Hitler himself. I'm not really sure of Hitler types, but when you ignore their drastically different ideologies, and you compare the emotional power in Hitler's speech with the one in MLK Jr. and Charlie Chaplin, it's can do all the juggling you want to adapt Chaplin's life to the INFP stereotype, like you just did. playing a tramp as an actor is INFP self-deprecating now? you are really funny. ENFJ are the funniest people around, always wanting to entertain others. study his quotes better which scream ENFJ. i'd dive into his life to get back to you with better arguments but as an INFP i don't really care about this fucker too much, like any other INXX neither does - except INTPs who tend to love ENFJs lolTbh, I'm not sure about his type but Fe-dom for him is way off to me. He built his career on putting on a persona of a tramp (as self-deprecating as can be--Fi), empathetic to the point of wanting to be (or role-play) the social outcast and the misfit--Fi, use humor to allude to seriousness, sadness and weight of the world--Fi and Ne. His opinion about politics --"The great dictator" and his mustache are humorous way of showing his Fi vs. Te--a recurring theme in INFP's works. Not sure if you were being serious @KrazyKat, but none of the quotes are strictly Fe characteristics. All of these quotes just pointed that he was a feeler. Fi users can care about how others perceive them, or if they're bothering anyone, kindness and gentleness too. This is a piece of cake!!! Fe: "I always like walking in the rain, so no one can see me crying" = I won't make you sad with my personal feelings, but I'll be sappy about them. Tertiary Se: "A man's true character comes out when he's drunk" = ENFJ alcohol problems + self-conscious of not been authentic when not drunk. Fe: "You'll find that life is still worthwhile, if you just smile" = let's fake a forced smile and everything will be alright! Tertiary Se: "Imagination means nothing without doing" = work work work (workaholic ENFJ is workaholic). Fe-dom: "More than cleverness, we need kindness and gentleness". And i could go on.......How is he ENFJ? Where is the Fe?The most famous ENFJ ever typed as INFP???!!!!!!! You guys are PATHETIC!!!!!quite obviously ENFP, i would sayReading his autobio, he was Fi dom for sure.
