Old (unmoderated comments)

I'd be type 4 according to this, which makes sense but I'm type 7. How valid has this been for other people? Yourself?

Type 1 if considering the first portion.

Whoever you are. You are correct.

MBTI type of Childhood enneagram

. I am more connected with my mother. As type 3 people mention they are motivated by me going to the gym.

. Some of my co-worker goes to the gym because I motivated them, without realizing. It makes me feels good and keeps improving myself.Information about Myers Briggs Type Indicator of Childhood enneagram.

The first source is from Riso and Hudson or 9types.com The second source is from http://pstypes.Which of the 16 personality types is Childhood enneagram?.blogspot.com/2010/01/chilhood-scenarios-for-enneatypes-law.html If it helps the poster of the second article is INTP

I agree that I am "disconnected from father figure" Responsive child vs. Active parent, I'm not too sure about this, I would describe my dad as outspoken, a bit egocentric, expressive, but later in my life he would be more like the neutral description: avoidant, withdrawn, indifferent, apathetic. In some ways I am a mix of "neutral" and "Responsive", depending on the situation. I think the second source is not as good as the first one.

Type 7's, when integrating go to type 5. When disintegrating, they go to Type 1. I don't think it would make sense to disintegrate twice, from 7 to 1 to 4. Disregard the second source, it is made by an INTP. Look at his/her typings and if you find it inaccurate, there you go: http://pstypes.blogspot.com/2009/10/enneagram-and-myers-briggs-on-tv-shows.html

I'm 5 and have always been Disconnected/Ambivalent to my parents.

I have a 9w1 friend that has never been connected to either her parents. She was pretty much a real-life Matilda in her own world.

according to this, i'd be a 5 or a 9, I think. But i think that's bullshit. ISTJs are most likely to be 6 or 1, so they are most likely to be both disconnected or connected to their father figure ? Does that mean ISTJs admire more their father figures or would be in need of a father figure than average ? Also I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters and they all tried to be parental figures to me.

Type 5 and the Ambivalent description for that sounds right in my case. I'm also the oldest child if that matters. My brother (and possibly my Dad) are Type 3s and the Connected to mother description sounds right in their case.

Yep, I'm a 3 and that's wrong.

No, you just hapen to be type 3.
