1. You use their PERSONALITY as an argument 2. That makes no sense on a fictional character, typing Marge Simpson on her hair : That is for sure a no-brainerOne's personality is revealed by their looks. New user typing on looks and not personality.

MBTI type of Jon Snow

. How to make a first impressionThe archetypal Fi-dom: dreary eyes, arched eyebrows, and ears covered by unkempt hair. No sensor would put so little effort into their looks.

. INFP. All his family is dead or in danger.Information about Myers Briggs Type Indicator of Jon Snow. He's been stabbed by his brothers. I do think he is ISFP.Which of the 16 personality types is Jon Snow?. He is driven by his intrinsic values (Fi), and willing to take action where they are concerned (Se). He's either an emo ISTJ or depressed ISFP. Such a boring and predictable character. He has had to break the wheel to get where he is. He is an INFP who is submissive to the old way. Makes no sense. Also, I really don't see the 5. On closer inspection, I realised how different he is in books vs show. Brooding on the show, but quite impulsive in the books. Where is his Fe. I typed him back as ISFP because it fits the typical highly moral but bad-ass ISFP hero too well. Like I said, I think his Fi is clearly more strong than in an average ISTJ do to his position as a bastard and the feeling of not fitting in. Can you have a more well-thought argument of why ISFP over ISTJ with strong Fi, I like the character, so I wouldn't mind having him a fellow Fi-dom. You only have to watch one episode of GoT to figure that one out. I also don't see the 4. I think I'll have to agree with ISTJ. He's very similar to his father, albeit more emotional but that could be explained by his position of being a bastard child and the angst that went with it. Compare him with Arya Stark, whose personal values are very independent and it's generally distrustful, Jon needs some kind of structure or person to be loyal, and in this aspect he's not that different from Ned Stark, albeit the loyalty vs. personal feeling conflict is stronger in him, probably due to his position as a bastard child. As for the show, he does a lot of long term planning to have inferior extroverted thinking. Bringing the Wildlings south of the Wall so that they would not become White Walkers and attempting to kill Mance Rayder in order to stop the Wildlings from marching on the wall again. He's prefers to plan things although he can be somewhat impetuous. What are the arguments for Fi-dom. As for the show, he does a lot of long term planning to have inferior extroverted thinking. His friend Samwell is an INFP and it's interesting to see the dynamic of the two Fi doms in the series. ISTP in Books, ISFP in the seriesHe's very boring in the show, maybe it's the actor. . . He is very much and ISTJ. I never saw much Fe in him. i can accept some page to screen changes, but that's pretty drastic of a character change. INFP. Really. He is so ISFP. Se is so evident.

Not a 4...

Emo ISFP 9w1 sp/sx

Well, having someone who hates you for being born because your dad didn't keep his pants on as a mother helps in the emo

ISFP 4w5 sx/sp

When meeting Daenerys for the first time, Jon did not bow in her presence nor did he agree to call her his queen. He was the opposite of agreeable with her. Even Tyrion made comments about his "brooding"... hence 4, not 9.

Did you know 4 wasn't only about being brooding ? And 9 can be pretty brooding, passive-agressive in their own way. Being brooding is not bringing conflict.

He can't be 9 with 8 wing because he is more 1 than 8. Not sure if 9w1 is the best fit though. Also he seems detached (and disagreeable as mysterymeat mentioned) in a T-ish way. He seems to lack the identity focus of the 4 as well. I'm not satisfied with it, but ISTP 1w9 may be the least bad fit out there. It's uncommon for ISTPs to be 1 but he seems to have acquired Ned's attitude while still not being an actual "judger" (he is like spontaneously moralist).

He seemed 9w1 at first but 9w8 in season 7.  He's like the first badass 9w1 in fiction. Why would they take him away from them??

Yep there were times that I thought he was a 1w9 too but peopl forget that 9's can merge to any type they want to be or respect. He clearly respected Ned probably more than anyone so he merged to be like him but he is naturally laid-back and passive and not naturally demonstrative like a 1 core is.

His character is so overwhelmingly cringy Fi.  There is no way he can be anything with T.  He is low T.

not a 4, not a 9, just a badly written bland character :D

Sorry, I'm new at this stuff. I saw Jon as INFJ, why is that wrong?

I think he is a INFP. Very starry-eyed

Did you know I never said that 4 was only about brooding? That you imagined words in my statement that were never there?Jon Snow [about the wildlings]: "They were born on the wrong side of the wall. That doesn't make them monsters."He identifies with the outsiders, the damaged, because that's what Jon is. The bastard who was abandoned and who never felt belonging within the Stark family.

I can see why one would think that. But he’s oriented towards things like sword-fighting and excitement, which is why he originally joined the Night Watch. Only once he was in a position where it was his job to determine the path of the Night’s Watch did he start trying to forge piece, etc. I’m not describing this very well, but I certainly see him as S>N by the letters.

He still has more Fe than Daenerys.

Pretty obvious 9w8 sp. On another site they kept typing him a 4w5. Which doesn't make sense.

Jon Snow is an INFJ (look at the end of the page with link) https://www.16personalities.com/infj-personality
