But the anime version he is ESTP. In anime he is a Ti user not Te user. His Ni inferior because he didn't take the precaution of taking his orphanage photograph. Also you seem to have bad connection.

MBTI type of Mello

. Your vulgarity is not impressive. Evil version of Naruto.

Find out about Mello personality type

. Fuck you, mello is an enfp badass like meDiamondDust is an retard who loves type all characters like SPs. Fuck you, mello is an enfp badass like meMello is a bit of an oddball.Information about Myers Briggs Type Indicator of Mello. Many think of him as an ESTP, ESFP, and I’ve even seen people claim ENTJ. Considering the functions however I believe he is almost certainly ENFP.Which of the 16 personality types is Mello?. He sees potential and is very creative with his plans. His Ne is fueled by a cause, or his introverted feeling. Lastly Mello uses his tertiary function, Te, to get the job done. He’s very thorough and to the point, unlike Ti users that like to poke around a lot. It’s true that both Ne and Se usually require a lot of stimuli to keep them going, but the type of stimulation differs. ENFPs, users of Ne, thrive on mental stimulation. ESFPs on the other hand like sensory stimulation because of their Se. Eren Yeager, a character I would consider an ESFP (I’ll get to posting about that in depth later), doesn’t really care about the many possibilities and ideas in life; he would prefer to make a direct visible impact on his external environment. His character is all over the place and develops quite a lot in the second arc. Many think of him as an ESTP, ESFP, and I’ve even seen people claim ENTJ. Mello’s uses his Ne to spot connections between various unrelated places. He sees potential and is very creative with his plans. This is why he may become reckless at times because an ESTP or an ENTP are way more likely to prioritize the logic behind their actions with their Ti. Lastly Mello uses his tertiary function, Te, to get the job done. What differentiates Mello as an ENFP versus an ESFP. It’s true that both Ne and Se usually require a lot of stimuli to keep them going, but the type of stimulation differs. This is usually done in form of ideas or information. ESFPs on the other hand like sensory stimulation because of their Se. he's much more intuitive in the manga, that i can agree onIf you read the manga will see more the intuitive side of the character who is always creating assumptions before acting, typical Ne-userIf he looks like an ESTP it's because he's a sociopath, and since he's 3w4 . . . However, the character demonstrates complex feelings that propel him and make him think he is doing the right, typical Fi-user. I discard ESFP for his actions, even being impulsive, are planned and engineered with a well-crafted creativity just like the Joker does, but more sentimental. Maybe because I'm 3w4 and need recognition for my actions. Mello's actions are very similar to those of the Joker (an ENTP), but he obviously demonstrates that he does not have logical reasoning like Near and he demonstrates to be moved by the feelings. Ne can be impulsive and reckless like Se, but Ne is more interested in creating events, in simulating and acting with that idea, which is the case of Mello. An example of ESTP in the Death Note is that mob leader who took the Death Note and made the agreement to have Shinigami's eyes. ENFP or ENTP. Mello is conscious about his decisions and is more interested in the promise that L did than in the game itself that Near says. His logic is objective and he wants to use it to function, which is more Te. Ne analyzes the possibilities, theories; Fi drives him and Te organizes. Mello is not ESTP. First, the character spends most of the anime facing the future, he wants to pass Near and is interested in creating chaotic events for this, typical Ne not healthy like The Joker. . . For me I never found him impulsive. All I ever saw was he lacked the hindsight that Near posses (Ni). It was thanks to Near that is why nobody was able get a photo of him, except a sketch of them, and of course of shinigami eyes. Mello is smart and initiative. That is Ti response. Later able to outsmart Kira to get the Death Note and kill the FBI that was working for Near. What he didn't expect was Ryuk will butt in and that you can possess shinigami eyes to read a person's name. He only know so far at the time that Kira must have only face and name. One cause the death of his friend Matt and eventually his very own death. Fe is there, because he wants recognition. That is why Mello snapped when Near thanked him of helping getting closer of who Kira identity might be. Mello remarked that he isn't a tool to solve some puzzle. He was upset that L was defeated. Although its up to viewer whether he was disgusted with Near view of L being a loser for simply losing to Kira. He is not concern of preserving the world or follow the guide lines. That is where Si comes in. But in the end they never really developed his anime version comparing to his manga version. Even when Mello acknowledge that Near should be successor he still wants to prove that he can surpass him. Personally one of the better ESTP, if he is an ESTP. Might be the closest to an ESTJ 4 that I've ever seen - fictional or real. His "impulsiveness" is not that of an ExxP. ExxPs do stuff impulsively mainly for the experience. It's the typical bulldozing over the environment that ExTJs do in the name of achievement, in this case his competition with Near being his motivation. I don't know how people can't identify this ESTJ kind of impulsiveness that he shows. 3's care more about succeeding in the eyes of others, while he is comfortably eccentric and obsessed mainly with his *self-image*, being so bothered at being #2. I think he can fit the "triple-reactive" tritype - 846, which really describes his nature and motivations quite well, and why he appears so impulsive. ESTP. Really cool character. Auxiliary Ti helps him to able to react quickly to danger and able to figure out that Kira has information of capturing the director of Japanese Task Force. His Ti comes in when he suspect Kira may have use the 13 days rule to in order to prove his innocence. Inferior Ni is due to his lack of hindsight and his desire to beat Near of being the best detective. His Ti is more display in the manga than anime. ENFP 3w4 or ESFP with strong Te and Ni. But he is very abstract, in fact that is more Ne than SeObviously an ENFP 3w4 sociopath. Ne is evident, it creates simulations, search possibilities and makes connections to come first than Near. Si inferior is also evident by the lack of clear details, which leads to improvisation. Mello is an ENFP badass like meHe does not think about the consequences of his actions, he is more interested in doing something. There's no way he's a N, this is clearly Ni-infHe does not think about the consequences of his actions, he is more interested in doing something. He is very immediate and impulsive. He is Se dom. . . He is very immediate and impulsive. He is Se dom. . . He is ENFJ sociopath. Fe explosion of feelings, Fi is feelings contained; it shows more external sense and know how to manipulate the intentions of others. L is an INTP, and so remember, showed nothing of philosophical and deep, in fact only became obsessed with catching Kira and do justice. Near and Mello is the same, however, Mello has a huge ideological focus on detective concept and what the concept is to him, thus, see L as a God and do everything possible to be as good as L and overcome Near but in its own shares. Not to mention that his enneagram, as I said, is a major reason for him to act this way is '' crazy about status ''. If you know a ENFP 3w4 or even 4w3 you will understand. He is actually extremely non-ideological or even philosophical. What concerns him is his status. Man . . . . . And look, they have inferior Te. Mello is quite like them, although it is gifted. unhealthy Fi can do so, mostly a 3w4. Anyway, I told my reason for being a ENFP Mello trying to pull Te. “It's not just the notebook I'm after. I wanna eliminate my competition. I don't care what it takes. I'll beat Near by any means necessary. ENTJ would be my second choice anyway. People who identify as ESTJ though tend to be a lot more Se-ish and impulsive than ENTJ's from my experience. Not participating in the debate on Mello, but @scotty your definition of ESTJ sounds more like a Te-Se looped ENTJ than an ESTJ. ESTJs indeed are rather thorough and meticulous due to Te and Si working in tandem. A Te-Se looped ENTJ however would fit your definition better since they combine the efficient bottom-line expediency of Te with the opportunistic fast-paced adaptability of Se, without any Si to turn their attention toward internalizing all the details. Mello has more creativity and focus on possibilities rather than focus on concrete and important details. He is driven by a selfish feeling and idealist who does idolize the concept detective and what L represented, thus, to rival Near to win what he believes. In my view, it seems Fi unhealthy. He really can disguise well, but that's the truth of the character. Te function can appear quite negative and objetive form in NFP's and SFP's not healthy, in so doing, they fight aggressively for what they believe - Zuko from Avatar, Riku from KH, Kylo Ren from Star Wars, Deidara from Naruto, Andrew from Whiplash is a good example. Anyway @Markz ESTJ's are not careful planners. They are not averse to mapping out their future though, which makes them more "planned". Te wants to change the environment efficiently, and an organized proven approach is often chosen by ESTJ's. But they also can get quite impulsive and improvised when opportunties pop up that lead them closer to their goals. He's not an introvert and wasn't going to withdraw and slow down to plan meticulously. ESTJ's in general never like to slow down, but in this race setting even less so. ENFP's are more hesitant and see problems (particularly moral ones) in things whereas the ESTJ bulldozers go right through them. All things considered, we don't know that much about Mello. We have to keep in mind that he's a genius who has to display his analytical skills (given the context), so obviously he would at least look like a Thinker. reach the Death Note kidnapping Sayu. . . The organization and manages Mello are weak if to compare with a normal ESTJ. Mello leaves your options open when Takimura was kidnapped by the mafia and then '' committed '' suicide (Kira knew his name), Mello not simply was immediate and thought Takimura was killed by Kira, only used the assumption but told itself does not rule out the possibility of him committing suicide at will, thus, making Mello see greater possibilities in the involvement with Kira to reach the notebook kidnapping Sayu. All the decisions he made was no reason the logic of You, was moved by holding Fi and motivates Mello to do what he does and what he believes. He has strong values, he said he never had intentions of killing people who are not involved with Kira, but part of the game as Sayu and Soichiro. And we also have to see that he's a sociopath, he will not put morality at all, because many unhealthy Fi only think about yourself and what is ideal for them. The output of the orphanage does not have as an ESTJ gifted simply ignore important details and get out of the way and can thus risking a lot in the future. Light, with Te above Fi, is not concerned with personal judgment as he preoccupies himself with killing people who are "objectively" bad and a burden upon society. If you look at Fi murderers from Elliot Rodger to Hisoka and Makishima, they prize their role of being able to choose who lives or dies by their own criteria. He doesn't have any such tendency to preoccupy himself with such things. He is all about objectives, not personal judgments. Te is very decisive, and as it is not introspective it does not prioritize rationality. Under time-constrained pressure, an ESTJ will go straight to their most primal instinct and say "to hell with rationality", not like they even prize a true rational approach without these constraints. Mello does not have a well-developed internal value system which he uses to judge the world. Instead he bases his decisions upon how they relate to his concrete, external goal. An NFP wants to keep options open for their own sake and not be constrained by a narrow pathway. They desire the ability to "improvise through life" unconstrained. He is so hooked into his goal that he is over-decisive and backs himself into situations where he is FORCED to improvise, but it is not because that is where he wants to be. An ESTJ, strategically, is so concerned with efficiency that they do not think through their plans that deeply. @Ray Types NFP's can be very violent when fighting for something you believe in. It has several examples of ENFP's violent the world as Che Guevara, Charles Manson, Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro. How Pain and Kabuto from Naruto, Zuko friom Avatar Makishima Shogo from Psycho Pass, Blackbeard from One Piece, Soujiro Seta from Rourouni Kenshin . . . @Scotty What you can not see anyway. I do not have told you why he push off Te negative and objectively because of a totally unhealthy Fi. A Te dom would never point a gun at Near a point of exposing your life, this is something totally meaningless; a Te dom gifted would not ignore important details like Mello does; a Te dom would not take much for improvisation; you can see that the plans of Mello are comprehensive and strong creativity to impress and surprise, after that he has nothing more because it ends up making the chaotic situation by lack of detail and organization. Also, Pe-doms generally are motivated by thrill and novelty in the present and leaving the world open for exploration, which he is not. He is an obsessed achievement chaser with a bruised ego that he can't handle. But he tries to solve his ego by presenting to himself competitive success. You can try to work function magic to your heart's content with saying "he's got strong tertiary Te" or whatever but an ExFP's function preference is Fi which is actually the most opposite to Te. Mello is very administrative and effortlessly organizes his the world around him through amoral planning. His insecurity is actually more Si-based than Fi-based. It's not like he feels he is deserving of top recognition. Now that Raw lost in the debate about Light Yagami, it will come try to see if it makes us believe that Mello is a ESTP. And he's doing it. It makes no sense. STP's are sociopaths and violent and opportunistic. Now that Raw lost in the debate about Light Yagami, it will come try to see if it makes us believe that Mello is a ESTP. And he's doing it. It makes no sense. STP's are sociopaths and violent and opportunistic. So let's assume that Che Guevara is also a xSTP. :pAlso, Mello is simply not an ENFP because he is nothing like an ENFP. XSTPs are decisive, violent, action oriented, opportunistic, and strategically gifted, and that’s all due to the combination of Se and Ti, whereas XNFPs are people oriented, morally strict, deeply empathetic, highly humanitarian and imaginative, and they are the least likely to be emotionally or physically violent, and that’s due to the combination of Ne and Fi. Just try to compare any XNFP character you know to an XSTP one, and you’ll quickly realize, if you’re being objective and not biased, and if your typings are correct, that Mello is more like the XSTP character. Relating Fi to emotional outbursts, idealizing people or acting on your angry feelings is not specific to Fi users; it’s merely the old same stereotype of “Deep dramatic feelings and anger issues = Fi”, when Fi is really the complete opposite of that if you carefully read any genuine article describing it. First of all, it’s true that I think that Mello is an ESTP, but I’m not forcing my views on anyone, nor am I responsible for the ESTP spam as some people alluded to. Who says that Mello is ENFP it probably is xNFP's sociopaths who are identifying with the Mello attitudes. This spam is absolutely ridiculous. (i'm pretty sure I know who is doing it) In terms of Mello's type what is the evidence of him being an Se user. The fact that he dresses differently and cares about how he looks. Why do people assume that being aesthetically aware is exclusive to Se users. It is simply not true. I think this due to enneagram more than MBTI. Type 3s(which he is) are known for self-conscious and aware of how others see them. Now the article you linked states that one of the reasons he is an Se dom is because he takes action the second he gets useful information. The first thing that is wrong with that argument is that it is wrong in the first place. Yes, he is good at quick improvising but not because he is impulsive and lives in the moment but because he is good at seeing the possible solutions to getting out of issues. I really don't get how one could say he is focused on the "physical" world. As someone stated before he wasn't recruited by the mafia because of his athletic ability or his physical awareness of the world. He was recruited because he was an idea generator and extremely objective and good at getting and making the most out of situations. He is in no way even remotely more of an Fe user than an Fi user. This guy is way more aware of his own feelings than others. As I stated long ago his reaction to Ls death was extremely Fi. This spam is absolutely ridiculous. He sees possibilities in the external world and puts into practice to achieve a goal that he values. I agree that it is like ESTJ, but you have to see that it is too disorganized to be one and runs well for improvisation to think of new ideas and action - Ne-Te loop. If he were a ESTJ he was very attached to small details, mainly because he is gifted. Do you think a ESTJ gifted would leave the orphanage and FORGET your picture there. It is pretty much a more intuitive version of Naruto - it's also a type 3. Near is a hyper rational INTJ. INTx's in particular see Sensing as an enemy of rationality because it responds to impulses and takes things at face value, something which goes against their very nature and preference for very detached thinking. That dialogue is actually classic INTJ-ESTJ interaction. In French subs, the line is as follows (I translated it, obviously): "Mello, you always get your emotions and impulses get the best of you and you overlook the crucial things". I don't think it suits a Thinker very well, now. And those aren't even factors that determine one's cognition unless you are told why they wear what they wear. @Markz, if you're going to attempt to use function loops (which I think is a load of BS personally), why would he be Ne-Te rather than Te-Ne. He has nothing resembling strong Fi, and I don't get the point of these "developed Te" arguments for someone as unbalanced as himself, especially when you could just keep the same functions. He is striving for this internal feeling of accomplishment which is actually very tied to Si. 10 spam ESTP votes. Well done. Any introvert can display traits that. There is no rule. . . NFPs have Te / Si inferior, but what drives us is the superior function. Mello lives by feeling for the drive to do something, and on the Si that makes creating connections and attachment. Yes, Te seems to be great in it, but I see that the feeling that moves all your intuition. Si less would not give him all that repudiation of the past, so I think it's bigger. And if you read the argument of the the link you passed, you will see that ENFP makes more sense than ESTP. And it makes no sense to be INFP. He is obsessed with a concentrated goal, so you Ne-loop. Disagree. He has a goal to draw to win your dream, it makes noise and search logical organization after analyzing the possibility to lead to such a place, for me it is more Fi-Ne-Te than Se-Ti. The inferiority complex that he has is a need for recognition, Ti users usually do not allow themselves to attack by these things and not idealize such a problem as Mello does. And since I mentioned before why he eat chocolates, there is not a pleasure but an honor and a connection to the past. It is not fully aware of this environment, it ignores important details and lack of analysis and only acts as he had planned and what he feels at the moment, thus making it over to improvisation. It is easier Mello is a xSFP than ESTP, but as I said, the connections to get to a place pushed by a narcissist Fi and violent inferior Te does act aggressively and impulsively, thus, find it Se dom and ignoring Ne-Si. 2)“And these opportunities and lack of planning does not make him a Se dom. ” There’s a huge difference between Ne and Se. Ne helps NPs with searching for patterns within a pool of facts, ideas,. . . So the introverted function is pushing for closure, while Ne is counterattacking it by generating more options and alternatives and interjecting enough new or contradictory information to keep NPs in a state of perpetual openness or indecision, so it can be very difficult for them to make decisions or come to firm conclusions. SPs are almost the opposite of that, because Se is great at sizing up a situation. This comes from experience of taking risks, being burned, and eventually understanding where the line is that they can’t cross. Se is also responsible having a keen eye for aesthetics and an enjoyment for “the finer things in life”. 1)"Mello is moved by the feeling, the feeling it gives energy and motivation for him to do what he does, it is impossible to deny that this is more like Fi. A good example was when he discovered that L died, the emotional outbursts because of whom he believed and idealized be killed by the enemy did do so. Secondly, being moved by an inferiority complex feeling doesn't mean that you have strong Fi, it's like saying that Fi users are the only ones who can have inferiority complexes or be moved by feelings to behave in a certain way. Thirdly, Mello's reaction to L's death isn't necessarily an Fi user's reaction. In fact, I think that Fi users are less likely to have emotional outbursts compared with Fe users due to the introverted and the extroverted nature of these two functions. Fi is like a silent internal strict moral compass which cannot be directly observed or dramatically expressed, Fe on the other hand is outwardly expressive, passionate and capable of controlling external emotional atmospheres. The author begins already saying that it is Se dom for the immediate speed and lack of planning, and then starts talking about the pleasure of dressing and eating chocolates, soon after, he says denies the fact that he is sentimental, only immediate and opportunistic to kill inferiority complex. Mello is moved by the feeling, the feeling it gives energy and motivation for him to do what he does, it is impossible to deny that this is more like Fi. And these opportunities and lack of planning does not make him a Se dom. The Ne function is to see ''power'' and possibilities in the external world, managing to make connections to get to a place where you get something, but it is not as organized as Ni, but rather chaotic. As mentioned here, the mafia did not want him for charisma, athletic ability and analytical, the mafia wanted him for the intuitive ability to see possibilities and be able to take advantage of them, so that he never erred in their predictions. And I do not think a ESTP would be quite spiteful with the past and would get the data from the past to remember to prevent your progress. a ESTP gifted would be very focused on the external environment, as happens at the moment, that is not his case because it ignores important details and only remember them when something is already happening. A good example of this was his way out of the orphanage and forget your photo. for use as a tribute to L, thus creating an inspiration. Fi-Si. I suggest that you re-read the article again in an objective light so you'll see that the se arguments aren't just about sensual pleasure. Even the comments make more sense than the stereotypical text. So I'm still for INFP. An INFP who left whiner stereotype and started following their irrational processes with your higher self to create chaos and achieve win your dream life. Wow. And . . . NOP. So . . . I think I am also Se dom. Here's a link to an explanation of why he's an ESTP: http://zombiesruineverything. Yeah. he is a very ESTP. Best example of ESTP. Si not healthy is prominently displayed on it, it is quite spiteful with the past and can not live in peace. The people of the mafia only wanted him around because of his intuitive ability. @Scotty An ESTJ does not act in a sentimental way he would act. The Si it only appears when it will improvise and remember the mistake he made to ignore details. Si is much more likely than Ni to get stuck in bad logic caused by emotions. This stability of opinion by being biased through categorization of past experiences, can lead to making decisions based more on emotion than logic, despite overall being loglcal non-feelers. I guess you can call it irrational logic because it works from premises of experience which may not be questioned as much as they should be. And also the Italian language is not for everyone. Actually with ESTJ being brought up, that even makes more sense to me than ENTJ. You probably use Ne. Open enough possibilities for the character and connect with trends, thus suppressing the fact that he not be introverted. '' He uses people to play his strategies, everybody knows that's more ENFP than INFP. And an anti-social extrovert can appear behaviouristically introverted. Any unhealthy kind can do that sort of thing. Primarily a INFP who wants to conquer your goal of life. You said yourself that ever met a INFP with social skills using a mask ESTJ. It is why home values, all decisions came from its principles - huge explosion when descubriu the '' god '' he idolized he died confessing be illogical to leave the orphanage and forget your photo - he did not think of many things and then thought, he thinks and then think of several things. Not to mention that he is gifted, it is not normal for a INFP, however, is not impossible, since the ranking of IQ INFP is in third place behind the INTJ and INTP. Although I had known a very explosive INFP with social skills and who really knows ESTJ create a mask, I still think he is an ENFP. He even said he has trouble acting logically in certain situations, so that was disgusted and left the orphanage just so and still forgot your photo. Near also been warned about such impulsive reactions. That's why his dominant function is Te not Ne. He's not interested in using people to open up exciting and novel opportunities as an anti-social ENFP would, or really any ExxP. He has nothing extrovert, boys. It just displays a flamboyant style, however, style and personality are quite relative. He has a lot of Si to be inferior, and his Te only manifests itself in an unhealthy way, his actions are more moved by a sickly Fi, but rather deductive. He's a sociopath INFP very explosive - what makes people think that is a ENFP and even an ENTJ. ENFP. More interested in looking for connections and ideas and is motivated by the inferiority complex that has for Near. Ne-Fi. However, it is more concerned with killing the inferiority complex that has in the past and is not too focused on immediate events, making him flee often for improvisation and creating theories of the situation by analyzing the mistake (which would be more Ne-Si than Se-Ni), which would be normal in a ESFP with Te developed and super gifted, let alone in a ENTJ. Anyway, quite creative and knows wreak havoc with your intuition, and is idealistic, wants to follow the legacy of L and be number one just to be feel chosen. When Near said he could various information with the actions de Mello, it was clearly impulsive and was ready to shoot him. It demonstrates quite impulsive actions. All the motivation it is something internal that leads to the outside. The feeling, as shown, rather hinders it. Mello is ENTJ. he's very similar to Light. Mello is thus plans, but are not fully detailed. ESFPs don't have have that well developed Ne possibilities thinking though. . . . . They can also use the Te and Te to plan and be objective. How is he not intuitive. The way he had a plan for all different possibilities was struck me as very Ne. He is also extremely idealistic in his goal to be the best detective. he only thinks and does. He plays quite in danger, he thinks and does, and it's quite impulsive and objective. He could not be an ESFP with Te and Ni developed. It is longer in the world of possibilities. You gift is not seen through it. Itself is obvious. The past is something quite important. The motivation it's there (Fi-Si). The way he creates his theory must be based on analysis of the details of their targets (Ne-Si). Every time it appears he is exploring ideas and possibilities, or ordering it and running (Te), or it irritating (Fi-Te), or it remembering the past (Si). ENTJ do it. He is ENFP with a broken Fi and Te and Si developed. It is the function that uses it more after all. And yes, all he does is following his sense of morality. You are stating the obvious but that doesn't mean you can't have a Te loop. An ENFP in a certain position will sometimes use his Te. . . Typer. . Night if you read the diary of Che Guevara he is a clear ENFP and my father is an ENFP and owned a business and was very commanding due to the Te. You are deluded if you think ENFPs can't be commanding. I can see where you are coming from scotty but he uses more Ne-Fi than Te-Ni. Light is the true ENTJ. Why can't 2 different characters still be the same personality type. I agree with Night's 21:38 comment about command though. . since Light Yagami is an ENTJ. . command someone in such a way to instill fear in them because they do not want to screw up the bonds they have with people. . it will be short lived. S that Che & Fidel are ENFP's because you have to understand that making sure people think you are an NF is half the battle in politics. This is why you will probably never see an ESTJ/ISTP American president in the U. S. @Night you literally just made the most blanket statement ever. I know tons of ENFPs who like to shop. Maybe they wont take deep interest but they are very fashionable. @scotty Nobody said all ENTJs are heartless but we react to things in different ways. I cried a little but not right away like that. Mello showed a clear Fi emotional outburst hearing the news. It is clearly not as developed as his Ne-Fi. The ESTP typing literally make no sense. NFP stubbornness is rooted in different thought patterns than NTJ stubbornness. I'm not an NTJ but I know ENTJs who can get very emotional. ESTP's can be brilliant when it comes to warfare or just preparing a decent strategy in general. Also ESTP's are one of the most fashionable types due to being Se dom. I can confirm ENFPs can be very stubborn. I can confirm ENFPs can be very narcissistic and only care about themselves. Mello seems to exhibit what is clear Fi to me. Most of his decisions are based on how he feels about it (Fi). He is not logical enough to be an ENTJ yet he still uses some Te. Si seems to also be his inferior function. He uses Ne-Fi-Te-Si so ENFP makes thew most sense and is the most logical answer. That reaction qualifies him as a feeler. I think there's some idea out there that if you're not an evil manipulative bastard, you're not an ENTJ. But just look at how he does his work. ENFPs prefer feeling over thinking. Mello does not. Yes Fi feels for themselves scotty. Of course an ENTJ would be sad when someone dies but they wont have the same reaction. ENFPs would have that outburst reaction due to the auxiliary Fi. ENFPs can be extremely narcissistic. There is way more Ne than Ni in Mello. So a Te dom is supposed to not care when people are killed. For Mello, it's the competition to act as L's successor. He doesn't follow any sort of moral code. Mello attempts to reach objectives using intuition with little thought about feelings of anyone except maybe himself. It is also clear he has inferior Si. His Fi is not inferior. . . That is not inferior Fi. The way Mello comes up with ideas is very Ne. Also some ENFPs can be stubborn at times. ENFPs are way more stubborn than ENTJs. Not Ne. And Fi only makes sense from an inferior standpoint, as it would be for Te-doms. ENTJ instead of ESTJ because he comes up with his own intuitive ways of getting the job done. You can also see the Te usage but to a lesser extent. The guy has a clearly developed Ne function. His Te is also very well developed. He is an ENFP who developed his Fi and Te functions very well. He is not an ENTJ. He is a clear Ne user. I know that ENFP's a popular choice, but it doesn't feel right for him. I think he might be an ESTP. Yeah he may let his emotions control him slightly more than Near but he's still definitely not F type. He's got like every single trait that ENTJs have because that is what he is. I may have forgotten this series to some extent but why is ENFP so weird to me for him. I think he is an ESTP Ti subtype
