I'm not sure I fully understand the INFJ angle. The things Komaeda is willing to do - the people he's willing to hurt - to project his internalized and idealized value system upon the world screams Fi to me. He's a dangerously intelligent person, but he's not a mastermind. He is quick on his feet and highly emotionally reactive to a world that sometimes seems hostile to his intensely felt and personalized worldview.

MBTI type of Nagito Komaeda

. Also I simply don't see him as a J-type. He's a very laid back and easy going guy unless you challenge him on his internalized value system.

Find out about Nagito Komaeda personality type

. After watching the anime and looking back on his behaviour in the games, I agree that he is an ENFP, 4w3. He is truly an Fi user, with all that stubborn personal values of his.Information about Myers Briggs Type Indicator of Nagito Komaeda. Since ENFP is seen as the "introverted-extroverts" of the mbti, many of the irl ENFPs online (as i've read) have experienced a sudden need for a temporary break from the outside world to process thoughts to themselves before sprinting back to make an impression on the world again. I noticed that Komaeda does this too, so that's why we often see him coming out to share his hope ideals to the others passionately and then disappearing to somewhere quiet to think and process.Which of the 16 personality types is Nagito Komaeda?. . It was fun being able to discuss this with all of you. I really canĀ“t see Nagito as an ESTJ. . . . __. Oh. . . It's what happens when Fi types are put under serious stress. They tend to bite. Oh. I'm sorry, maybe I wasn't clear enough, haha. . . It's what happens when Fi types are put under serious stress. They tend to bite. I don't believe his reactions in chapter 4 and onwards to be some kind of childish inferior Te burst, because it doesn't mean anything to me. Rather, it was a "stress" situation triggered by his discovery of new truths that contradicted his subjective point of view, his personal beliefs, you could say his own "moral model" he used to comprehend reality (hope is so f-ing awesome vs despair sucks). It felt like a treason in his eyes, and he started to adopt a very pessimistic point of view, where hope did not really exist. The only thing to be done was to destroy despair, and that's what he tried to do. Killmoon's analysis was interesting to read, but I still believe he's an NFP. His Fi is incredible. . . He's always willing to act based on what he believes is right, even though all the other students regard him as scary or incomprehensible. "Society's definition of hope" doesn't seem matter to him at all. . . . I don't see much Ti in him either, but I remember his reactions in Chapter 4 (and onwards) seemed more like a burst of underdeveloped, lower Te. The only thing i'm unsure of is. . . I think INFP makes a bit more sense functions-wise, but I know I can't entirely ignore the letters. . . However, it's highly likely that he's also an unhealthy version of his type, because it's rare for healthy types to behave the way he does, and backing this view up with all the trauma he had to go through, it's no wonder he's unhealthy. Anyways, I would like to read on your explanations for your votes. Komaeda's preference of Fe to Fi can be seen in how he looks at and follows society's definition of hope, instead of him diving full-on deep into his own idealism. Following and adopting society's views on one's personal values is a clear Fe trait, something that an Fi user would not do naturally, (considering how Fi users constantly check in on their own emotions to see if the situation/actions before them flow with their own original values). Due to his traumatic past and messed up luck cycle, it is explanatory that he would create a mental framework based on society's views on the ideal hope, and start to develop a weird view of it, while also hoping to find structure with his Tertiary Ti in his messy life. (Which is in this case, the singular grand vision that hope will save everyone if they believe in it, and he will be the one to ignite this hope in them. By doing this, he was able to avoid falling into despair despite all of the bad things happening to him. This is why he is able to stay optimistic even in the face of the worst of situations, because he believes that the more painful the situation is, the better the future will be. It was only after reading the F. F file, that he started to lose sight of the possibility of the students being embodiments of hope, because he realized that it was impossible for Hope to breed after looking at the truth of the situation. And readily too. His tertiary Ti made him realize that things were not going according to plan, so might as well drop it all and move on to plan B. For example, the beginning of chapter 2 and he's whole speech. . . k. a the Japanese media, society, culture etc. Fi is primarily concerned about its own emotional standards and emotionally derived values, sticking to it and checking in on themselves to ensure that none of these personal values are affected by outer factors. Instead of this, he is accustomed to stick to values that he had learnt and observed from outer stimuli (Fe), and not values that come from him himself(Fi), hence his conclusion that "unsuccessful, talentless people are worthless". Too be honest, I also see him as ENFP. During the free time events, I think it's more prominent. Too be honest, I also see him as ENFP. During the free time events, I think it's more prominent. I'm sure we might experience komaeda's true personality in the anime. Why all these INFP votes. Oh gosh, sorry if my points are all over the place but I guess I could call it a summary[SPOILERS]****** Well I guess we have to keep note that the only time komaeda shows his true self was probably when he was alone with Izuru and when you take on his perspective. He seemed to take the initiative to approach Izuru and didn't mind talking about his hatred for junko. Also one thing I notice is that Komaeda is completely unaware of how is whole "HOPE. " Talk is freaking out the other Ultimates. I'm not too confident but I guess he would be xNxP. Probably one of the most deliciously broken ENFP I've ever seen in fiction.
