I read somewhere that enneagram 7 seems to correlation to narcissistic personality disorder. I thought type 3 is also but it seems type 3 is more of a marketing personality rather narcissistic. Kind of like a salesman. Type 8 could be a contender but I don't really think so.

MBTI type of Narcissistic Personality Disorder

. Interesting enough stress type 5 carry traits of unhealthy type 7 so I guess that explains the INTJ behavior of presuming narcissism style.I'm seconding vi and lld0789http://m.

Find out about Narcissistic Personality Disorder personality type

.huffpost.com/us/entry/4696772 Also narcissists are probably mostly thinkers.Information about Myers Briggs Type Indicator of Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Their F just comes out in negative ways.arrogance does not automatically equal narcissism.Which of the 16 personality types is Narcissistic Personality Disorder?. people with npd require constant validation and attention from others which doesn't sound intj at all. npd in general seems more like unhealthy enfj disorder. also wtf @ the estp votes.Oh god, who voted for Scotty? x) He's one of the most genuine people I've met on hereINTJs, only reason they admit they're bad at socializing is cause it's not something they care about and it goes with their misanthrope identity. You criticize an INTJ about something and the response is always akin to "that's just your misinterpretation of what I'm actually saying/doing"I'm surprised INTJ is being voted so high in this. INTJs are confident in what they are good at, but the healthy ones also are aware of their many weaknesses and limitations. An INTJ I knew was extremely intelligent and highly competent, and he was confident about that. But he admitted that he was socially awkward and he was aware of his lack of people skills. Narcissists tend to be excellent manipulators, a trait INTJs do not tend to have. The INTJ I knew also had a mild form of Asperger's syndrome, which I wouldn't doubt many genuine INTJs have on some level. That might lead people to believe they lack empathy and are narcissists, but in that case, it's just a matter of misinterpreting social cues...not a true lack of empathy, like a narcissist. If you look at people complaining about their N-Parents online it's mostly ExxJ's. https://www.reddit.com/r/raisedbynarcissists/comments/1s9qy3/myersbriggs_personality_types_what_is_your_own/In this study http://www.uccs.edu/Documents/dsegal/An-empirical-investigation-Jungs-types-and-PD-features-JPT-2.pdf NPD is shown to only have remotely statistically significant correlation with N over S. But even that is fairly weak. I don't think NPD closely correlates with any type actually.I also believe associating a serious, sometimes debilitating, psychological disorders with Jung's types make no real sense. But again a few entries on this site are that way. Case in point: typing months and days. :)I agree, personality disorders shouldn't be associated with types. I also don't think there is any real correlation between styles and types to show. I would hope CT are only highlighting a few traits that a type and style may share. I like Millon's personality styles though. I haven't read CT's articles on personality styles so I don't know how they've explained their hypothesis.Regardless, since this page explicitly refers to the disorder and not the style, INTJ should not be winning.A good point in differentiating the style from the disorder. But, side note: CT actually hasn't "shown" any correlation, but merely inferred it; none of their "strongly linked to Personality Style X" have actually been verified. They're untested hypotheses, as far as I'm aware. So while they may make sense (and many of them do), they have yet to be proven true. What you explained for the kind of arrogance is more consistent with the style however the disorder itself is very extreme form of it and with any extreme illness the correlation with the broader personality type can't be established. At best INTJs can show some Narcissistic Personality Style behaviors and necessarily in a bad way.I believe, and I could be wrong, that CT has shown some correlations between Narcissistic Personality "Style" with INTJ type and NOT with Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Both are different I'd suppose. The equivocation of NPD with INTJ by CelebrityTypes is one of my biggest criticisms with their site. While I don't deny many INTJs can be *arrogant,* that does not make them *narcissistic,* since a necessary component of narcissism is the need to be adulated by others. Most arrogant INTJs are arrogant in an "I'm right you're wrong, these are just the facts" kind of way, not in an attention seeking narcissistic kind of way. INTJs have a problem with what I'd call "disinterested arrogance" more so than with narcissism, which I would think is more correlated with extraversion. That said, personality disorders and type may be correlated, but it is by no a causal relationship; any type can theoretically suffer from any of the disorders. Not sure but I'm going with ENTJ. Most disorders are more with N types that S types.

ESTJ > ESTP > ENTJ INTJ & ENTP are tied for fouth place for me.

Overconfidence is E > I , S > N , T > F , J = P

Covert narcissist is very INTJ.

Me

Overconfidence is not the same as narcissism.

I know but it's correlated

Why is it always 3w2 thats narcassitic or psychopathic you pricks

well, same way 8s are depicted as physically violent, raging psychos in other entries 3s r described as wanting to be seen as “impressive” in some way, this is that, just taken into a whole new lvl to fit the entry’s topic

aaaand probably bc of the 2’s more extroverted nature n that it is tied to “pride” n also 8s when unhealthy, and since 8w7s are the most voted here aside from 3s, that probably has smth to do w it anyway i’d still say 3w4 > 3w2 for actual NPD

ESFJs tend to suffer from that condition, quit doing crystal methamphetamin. The narcisstic INTJ is most of the type an xSTP. Educate yourselves.

Is most the time a mistyped xSTP*

Well the one that has the most narcissistic tendencies is obviously the ESFJ female  (also overrated personality, trash talks and usually a gold digger) a male ESFJ can be equal to the ESTP male but the ESFJ is like Gaston (He was way too narcissistic and definitely not an ENTJ since he laughed and looked down on intellectual people and liked traditions, he wanted to kill the Beast because he felt insulted Belle chose someone that wasn't normal nor as "good looking" as him.  If people want to argue that Snape (INTJ), Raven (Teen Titans, INTJ) or Itachi (INTJ) are narcissists then go ahead and do it, you are the ones that will look like an idiotic person.

ENFJ INTJ

ENFJ first - it's all about their feelings, INTJ second - it's all about their superiority... pathetic.

INTJS are not narcissistic they're pretty oblivious to the fact that their actions are seen as those of self-involved douchebags.  It's probably much more common in xsfp.

Aren't you just picking and choosing certain characters? No one said those were narcissistic characters.

I used them as an example. What I meant is, the INTJ is not actually narcissistic. Every type got its rotten apples, true but narcissism is arguably not found in all personalities. Extroverts are more likely be narcissistic and this is not a biased opinion, unless you can find something to contradict me and I will not back off but instead discuss about it.

I see what you're saying, but any type can be narcissistic. For example, people think I'm an introvert on here but I'm arguably narcissistic

Extraversion has a large, irrefutable, correlation with narcissism. Being intuitive and assertive have moderate correlations, and being a judger and thinker have a slight correlation. Thus, an ENTJ-A has the highest probability of being narcissistic. Source: https://pdfs.semanticscholar.org/e8aa/023361efc9eaa246ca4af557241fe1ee24c8.pdf

Many narcissists don't realize they're narcissists, as is the case with the INTJ ones I've seen.

could mike labaconase jones be INTJ or ENTJ? Stay tuned
