Pretty sure he's Sx though. He forms close friendships with people (Shane, Daryl) rather than having a lot of shallow connections like an So. The most ISTJ to ever ISTJ. Rick's an ISFP in the Comics but absolutely an ISTJ on the AMC tv show.

MBTI type of Rick Grimes

. To think Rick is anything else is ridiculous. How does he have currently 23 votes for ISFP.

. He is an ISTJ through and through. ISFP's play the blame game when they are stressed.Information about Myers Briggs Type Indicator of Rick Grimes. ISTJ's when stress fall apart like Rick did when Lori died. He is ISTJ, ISTJ, ISTJ, folks.Which of the 16 personality types is Rick Grimes?. Face it. I can nderstand ISFP votes thoCurrently it seems more ISTJ, but I believe it is an unhealthy ISFJ trying to act like ISTJ to keep people alive that he considers important. He is very focused on the welfare of the group and spent a while believing in the illusion of peace with the group, thus lowering their guard and be surprised by the harsh reality that the world has thus created a more realistic view of the current situation. Anyway, he is ISTJ. You can see how uncomfortable he is with his tertiary Fi when Lori dies. The way he scans a room. And then he gives orders in a very Te sort of way. ISTJ's are pure melancholic, and Rick Grimes is THE definition of melancholy. the INFJ argument actully kind of makes sense. I can see INFJ, although I would argue INTJ because He seems to be more Te/Fi than Fe/Ti, although It could be just a vibe based on the few seasons I've seen, but he is an enforcer of logic, not norms and values. He uses very rough tactics as a leader and I believe that an INFJ would be a lot more universally understanding. He doesn't get people's attention through motivation, but through assertion. And lastly, when he took all those people under his wing after the governor was defeated in battle, he seemed to be concerned for them subjectively but he was being the leader, initially bringing them in for the extra reinforcements and unique skills they can provide, not because he was concerned. When he plans he is comsidering what might happen and not what has happened in the past. He saw the possibility of fortity in the prison and rather than shying away from it like Si would, he followed his anticipations. INTJ is my final voteI can't help but think that Rick is neither an ISTJ or an ISFP. Under pressure, he is usually quite poised, tactful, and determined. ISFPs also lack his sense of composure. His de facto status as a leader also weakens the ISFP argument--this is a position he embraces, and though he may prefer to act behind the scenes, he's very capable of being in charge. He is a southern male; there may be a social expectation in that to appear like an ISTJ. I believe Rick is an IxFJ with an odd enneagram, and I lean towards INFJ. Sorry, kids, but ISFP is a dangerous trap for amateur typists.
